Excess Electronic Parts Recovery

Recovery of surplus and excess electronic components from OEM, EMS, and distributor inventories. Kelian Components evaluates parts based on manufacturer, date code, packaging condition, and quantity to determine recoverable value.

What We Recover

Excess electronic parts recovery focuses on surplus inventory that is no longer required for production or sale. We purchase overstock directly from manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and distributors. The primary categories include:

  • Integrated circuits (ICs), microcontrollers, and processors
  • Passive components such as capacitors, resistors, and inductors
  • Discrete semiconductors including diodes, transistors, and MOSFETs
  • Connectors, relays, and switches
  • Memory modules and storage ICs

Evaluation Criteria

The value of excess electronic parts depends on specific physical and logistical factors. When you submit an inventory list, we assess the following details to provide an accurate evaluation:

  • Manufacturer and Part Number: Components from established semiconductor and passive manufacturers are easier to verify and place.
  • Date Code: Newer date codes generally hold higher value. Older stock is still evaluated, but age affects the final offer due to potential oxidation or shelf-life concerns.
  • Packaging Condition: Original factory packaging—such as sealed tape and reel, tubes, or trays—is preferred. Loose parts or broken moisture barrier bags require additional inspection.
  • Quantity: Full reels or large batches of a single part number are processed more efficiently than mixed, low-volume assortments.

Preparing Your Inventory List

To start the excess electronic parts recovery process, prepare a spreadsheet containing your available stock. Include the manufacturer name, exact part number, total quantity, date code, and current packaging type. If the parts are stored in multiple locations or have mixed date codes, note this clearly in the file.

Kelian Components reviews submitted lists against current market demand. Once the assessment is complete, we provide feedback on which items can be recovered and the terms for the transaction. Accurate data at the submission stage prevents delays and ensures a straightforward process.
